A Black-and-white Contrast California Home

Today, I would like to take you to look into a modern house I fall in love with. It is the house that belongs to jewelry designer Miranda Frye. Her creative artistic style goes far beyond the jewelry she has created for celebrities like Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Shay Mitchell, and etc. The interior design of her home is more attractive!

The California modern home where she lives with her family, Miranda is the interior designer and her husband is the decorator. The intention is to create a neutral space without losing elegance and refinement, with femininity in the details.

I fall in love with those angular lines and big windows everywhere. Bright light and tranquil views then flow naturally into the room. However, the interior design was originally outdated and the interior space needed extensive renovations.

It is important to integrate each room in the home into space. The whole is creating a sense of cohesion while giving the room its own personality. To a person who wants to have the spotless ground, the ebony floor is impractical! But Miranda has always loved the contrast between black and white, and the overall contrast it brings to every room.

The best design starts with a vision. The use of texture is very important. Jewelry design and interior design do not depend on the use of color but on the use of texture and pattern. The designer combined them to create a visually interesting aesthetic.

As an architecture student, I really enjoy browsing these good interior photos and watching the home tour by AD on YouTube. Let me know if you enjoy reading this blog which would encourage me to write more in the future. Here are my thoughts about the home during COVID-19, please check it out. Do not forget to like this post!

Thanks for reading ❤
