Looking for the Best Flavor

Most people visit a restaurant for its food, but not me. The most important reason I visit a restaurant is for its environment, and the vibe it creates for the customers. I am glad that Toronto has so many great restaurants or bistros.

When I browsed the social media, I found this restaurant presents the Chinese fusion style very well. which is Yue Rong Xuan · Jun Banquet located in Hangzhou, China. First of all, in a restaurant, it is important to know what food it is mainly presented with. So for this restaurant, it is seafood. The long coastline has created the food tradition of “eat locally, eat now” and the “wok chi” culture of the Guangzhou people, who pursue freshness, season, and exquisite cooking. The process of frying, steaming, roasting, braising, braising, raw marinade, and deep-frying, it shows the production method of “braising with fine ingredients, eating with fine ingredients”. It is a skillful cooking heart that drives the evolution of taste and mind with authentic ingredients from mountains and seas.

Food has a clever similarity between natively and space, offering space with regional consciousness. The environment emphasizes “immersive” engagement and coordinates mutual fusion. Inspired by the kapok, the meaning of the heroic image, with its color, take its shape, combined with the space step by step progressive relationship, presents a “beauty without charming, A visual feast with impact.

According to the different aerial views of the site, the space is divided into different combination forms by “main and auxiliary”. The hall is projected on the plane in the shape of kapok flowers to establish a curved facade. The semi-arc molding metal with the same distance forms a continuous and winding image of a “kapok forest”. Turning from the entrance, through the jungle gap with different openings, the sudden opening and the urban landscape appear in front of you.

“Raw and cooked” is the different state of food, color, shape, and taste differ in thousands of ways, but the proper physical transformation extends to the space, having the same exquisite beauty. The restaurant uses French warmth and romance style decorating the ceiling, black and white flooring, frame structure elements, and special GRG materials combined with columns to show the publicity of personality and furniture retro and avant-garde blend in one, presenting a complex and diverse space appearance.
