Portfolio Review Consulting

I have spent over a decade as a practicing architect, running my own firm and teaching architecture students at various universities.
I have reviewed hundreds of portfolios—from students applying to top architecture programs to recent graduates seeking their first positions at architecture firms.
Here’s what I have learned: most portfolios fail not because of lack of talent, but because students don’t understand what architecture schools are actually looking for.
They include the wrong projects, bury their strongest work, or present everything the same way. Small changes make huge differences.
If you’re applying to architecture school or applying for your first architecture position and want honest, specific feedback from someone who has been on both sides, as a practitioner who hires architects and as an instructor who teaches them, I can help.
